Blackie Blogg-Australia New Zealand!

Here we are relaxing on the last day of an Aussie tour, recovering from our self inflicetd wounds from too much good wine. Dajon's just sat by the pool sharpening Anduril ready for his return to Gondor. Dajon's Aragorn for any of you who didn't know, he's just called Dajon to keep his identity secret so he isn't slaine.
Tom's been preparing himself for the worlds biggest Bungee Jump in New Zealand by wrapping himself in elastic bands & jumping off the hotel balcony. Probably should have done that over the pool, but I'm sure he'll still be jumping around & doing his best to get you all dancing tonight.
Ian's been residing in a vineyard by Margaret River since the last time we were here. We're still using Ian lookalike at the moment but we might have a drive by the vineyard & see if he's drunk all the good stuff & wants to leave yet.
Olly's gone on a parachute drop into the outback. He's gone in search for the perfect drum wood. He spends his days & nights searching out funny looking trees with wierd sounding names & taps gently against them with a small toffee hammer to see if he likes the resonance. I think he might be losing his BLANKS! The outback sun seems to have got to him.
Ben's down in Bondi, I think he's giving Jack Johnson a few surfing tips today.
So that's about the current state of affairs hope you're all good & you Kiwi's are all ready & raring to go!
See you soon!

Ahh the land of sunshine, fine wine, pretty scantily clad ladies, exotic animals and....neighbours!

All of that fine wine must be spoiling you all rotten, a little birdie told me that you and the guys were bribed with a case of wine to play rosalita in petaluma. Howzabout hey bulldog next time you hit the baddalands? naturally i'll provide three and a half cans of tennents (room temperature) for your trouble. Infact, bust some moves in a dance off on stage and i may even provide a single bottle of babycham and some vimto for the ladies/ crew. ;-)

Anyhoo, keep those liver in shape and have a blast in little australia, do they have electricity there yet? I have a feeling i'll be receiving a firm boot to my furry dice from leocadia, can it make things any worse? no seriously, im looking for maximum impact ( i have this new cup i need to test out )

Take care

Chaps, your set at Southbound in Western Australia was top draw!

I spoke to many people of the weekend and we all agreed that 1) giving you an afternnon slot was criminal, 2) Gomez were the best band of the weekend. The first song gave us goose pimples - what a voice!!

Many had never heard of you or only your early stuff (I only heard your first 2 albumns) They are all going to buy them this week off the back of the gig.

Great work lads and make sure you make it back again soon.....too much Aussie try hard music here!!!

Thats for making the weekend for me,

Andy (and Heather, Stu, Kay, Michael, Fran, Clay, Sasa et al..)
