Blackie Blogg-G'day!G'Day!

G'day to yus all.
I've been reading some of your replies & indeed it will be good to be back in Freeo, you might be going broke though mate I'm afraid, sorry about that but hey, if you want get all feisty everytime you here we're coming to town, that's your business mate!
So anyway, we had a goot time last night in AdelO, the crowd were somethin, saw many people dancing away, some with smiles on their faces all the way through. We'd been having a few problems, Ian had come down with hell bug that day, so he'd been sick all day long & had to go to Doc's, but armed & loaded with drugs played his way through it all. The only other problem was that some guy kept shining a torch in my eyes everytime I turned around, he claims he's something to do with the tour, think his names John Smith or John stone or something like that.
Up early this morning anyway to head over to darwin where we're now residing. There was a smell of alcohol consumption at the airport, I've been hearing stories of Casino dwelling and all. Seems strange, we never usually get drunk every night when we're in Australia, oh no wait?

OK, what do I have to do for you guys to stop in Chicago on this tour? You always come here and it is making me nervous it hasn't been added yet. Please come, I'll buy you guys some Chicago style hot dogs, set up all your equipment, get you drunk, and whatever else it takes. And if you do, can you play Army Dub?

Tomorrow night at the Prince for the Troubadour night, then the first 2 shows at The HiFi...still crossing my fingers I win the double pass to see you again for the last show on the Thursday night, haha, overkill you say? Hi Blackie! I second the vote for Gomez to stop in Chicago. I'm prepared to drive to Madison WI, it's not very far from Chicago and in October the drive will be quite scenic. However, it would be great if you stopped in Chicago. I missed your last show here in May (had tickets to a cancelled Depeche Mode concert and couldn't switch gears fast enough to head down to the Vic). Looking foward to your show in Austin. See you there. Try to stay healthy!

A big thanks for the great gig in Adelaide! The Gov was certainly a different venue from the ones you usually play in Adelaide, but I thought it worked pretty well. Can't wait till your here again next time! Chris

I was having a shite day, and I came home, and I put the radio on (Trip Trip Triple J) and THERE YOU WERE. It was so comforting knowing your happy little selves are here in Australia, and kudos for Tommy for joining in that bizarre radio play. Counting down the days til you grace us here in Sydney. I saw the Love Police shirts. I want one.

Love to all. xxxxx and one for Dajon x

hey, good to hear you lads are coming back to ireland at last. Why is it always the same, electric picnic is on this weekend which means lots of money being spent, gomez tickets go on sale at the same time and ryan adams tickets go on sale then there'll be a drought of good gigs for another year. Still thanks for playing though.

Saw you guys last night at Newie (ha! good thing about going to a home town gig, get more opportunity to get a prime spot to see you guys). You were, as usual, ace and put on a top show. My friend (who hasn't seen you before but has put up with my constant talking about how good you guys are for years) said "I can completely understand why you love these guys so much" so there you go!

Really enjoyed the set, new songs worked in well. Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if that chick managed to get onstage, instead of being brutally taken down, but thems the breaks.

Thanks for a top show!
