The triple digits here need to stop. I have a pool but its in the valley were its even hotter up here than the other side of the hill. More importantly, playlist: Cowboy Song, Detroit Swing '66, Homoa Beach, Woman! Man!, Drench, Meet Me in the City, Do One and just for sh*ts and giggles Bananarama's Cruel Summer.

Uhm. I won't be there, but you should definately play Coltrane. I'm pumping my fist in the air at the very thought of that. Woo.

I think you should treat the good folks of La to Sarah brightmans 'starship tropper'

How can you argue with such a brilliant lyricist?

------------------------------
I lost my heart to a starship trooper
I lost my heart to a starship trooper
Oh...

Hey, Captain Strange
Won't you be my lover
You're the best thing
That I've ever discovered
Flash Gordon's left me
He's gone to the stars
An evil Darth Vader
Has me banished to Mars
------------------------------
^

I googled that, i swear! No really, i did hahah

Hope all is well

God Lead Your Soul
Flavors
Chasing Ghosts With Alcohol
some Aloha action..
Blue Eyed Son
Disco Loadout

A cover of the song below would be veeerrrry taaaaasty (go to -The Gardens Of Taxco- off of Santa Monica in WeHo to experience that guy!)

Song to cover, don't even listen to the tune just play it based on the lyrics..

Wide awake and he shakes in a panic
Never woke up alone ever before
Had his woman long as he can remember
Tries to forget, but he can't, he can't...

Out of bed and he dreams in the shower
She's standing naked and apologizing
Reaches for her and the water turns to red hot
Woken up to be burned, burned, again...

Go it alone
You gotta let it go
I wanna breathe and I said
I can't take it any other way

On the streets he's walkin', wounded
Doesn't smile for the child at play
Thoughts of suicide and alleviation
Anything to get his heart off of the coals

Does he fly away or just talk about it
Like a seagull born to cry in the wind
All experiences lead to a young girl
How long 'til you meet the one who lies in wait

Go it alone
You got to let it go
Try to breathe, but you can't
You can't take it any other way

Myself, don't talk to me
I can help myself, don't talk to me

Wide awake and he shakes in a panic
Never woke up alone ever before
Had his woman long as he can remember
Tries to forget, but he can't, he can't...

Well, you'll be needing to practice Coltrane for my birthday in Newcastle... and Flavours, since you claim to never remember it.

Keep in mind, non-cooperation will result in your 'wardrobist' going on strike.

Ian, my favorite song you do is Pop Juice. The story is beautiful and sad, but you tell it so well. Although I won't be at the show, I'm sure it would be a treat to those who can make it to LA.

Cheers.

E,

Do you remember how to play "Click Click"? That would be awesome, even though I won't be there to hear it.

I, too, will vote for Pop Juice for my new hubby. I think he's asked you to play that before? Not sure. See everyone on Friday!

I remember when you crashed at my house in Pennsylvania, with your Mom. It was the week of the US Open played at Oakmont. Remeber you went out and bought a guitar, and some CDS?
